~~HAROLD N. FAVORITE1932-2008Harold Favorite, age 76 of Pensacola, passed away Sunday, December 7, 2008. Harold was a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church and retired from St. Regis Paper Co. after 37 years of service. He was a proud veteran of the U. S. Army. "PaPa's" greatest joy was spending time with his loving grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his mother Cora Bell Favorite; father, Robert M. Favorite; sister, Marion Segers; two brothers, Louis and Joseph Favorite.Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Almeda Helton Favorite; five children, Gina Langham, Janet Rodgers, Wayne Favorite, Vicki Orcutt and Johnny Favorite (Debbie); 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; brother, Robert E. Favorite (Charlene); six half brothers and sisters; numerous nieces and nephews.Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, December 11, 2008 at FAITH CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 100 Beverly Pkwy with Father George Thekkummattathil officiating. Interment will follow in St. John's Cemetery.Pallbearers will be his grandsons, Jason & Justin Langham, J.J. Orcutt, Shane, Cody & Dylan Rodgers, Greg Spitzer and Kevin Clifton. Honorary pallbearers will be his brother, Robert E. Favorite and brother-in-law, Eugene Helton.The family will receive friends at Faith Chapel South from 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, December 10 with prayer vigil service at 6:30 p.m.
