~~ARTHUR HINOTE, JR. 1916 - 2010 Arthur Hinote, Jr. 93, of Pensacola, FL passed away on Wednesday, March 24, 2010. He was born on December 29, 1916 in Okaloosa County and his family moved to Pensacola shortly afterwards. He was a graduate of Pensacola High School. Mr. Hinote was retired after 37 years as an O & R supervisor for the Federal Civil Service at NAS, Pensacola. He was a member of Escambia Masonic Lodge #15, F & AM from 1944 until his death. He served in the Army during World War II and was a longtime member of East Hill Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing, square dancing and bridge. Mr. Hinote was preceded in death by his father and mother, Arthur Hinote, Sr. and Rebecca Garrett Hinote; his wife, Ila Clenney Hinote, and a sister, Lee Hinote. Survivors include a son, Roger (Susan) Hinote; daughter, Linda (David) Carson; grandchildren, David Carson, Jr., Susan (Larry) Tylee, Brian Hinote and Sarah Hinote; great-granddaughters, Deanna and Danielle Tylee; and a sister-in-law, Norma Davis. Memorial services will be held at 11:00am Friday, April 2, 2010 at East Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Jim Burkhardt officiating. The Masonic Memorial Team will render Masonic honors. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Lymphoma Society or the charity of your choice. The family would like to extend special thanks to Bayview Senior Center for the services provided during his retirement and to his neighbors who were so kind.
