Jennifer Fisher Miles was born on June 3, 1964 in Pensacola Florida to William and Shirley Fisher. The youngest child of the family with two older brothers, Jennifer affectionately referred to herself as the favorite daughter.
Jennifer started a career in the mail room of the Escambia County Florida Tax Collectors Office where she rose through the ranks until after 35 years she retired as the Chief Administrative Officer in 2018. She met her husband, Michael in 1983 and they were married on April 28, 1984. They spent almost 39 happy years together, laughing, traveling, and raising a family. Together they welcomed two sons, Jeremy and Benjamin. In 2014, Jennifer was promoted to one of her favorite titles: Grandmama. Quirky and fun, she had an infectious smile that she was almost always wearing. She loved to host gatherings and was the happiest with a house full of the people she loved. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, the mark that she left on the hearts of those who cared for her will never fade. Jennifer was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Bill. She is survived by her husband Michael, sons Jeremy (Amberliegh) and Benjamin, grandchildren Annabelle, Emilia, Charlotte and Harrison, her brother Tom, her mother and father in law, Henry and Dorothy Miles, many nieces and nephews and many many others cherished friends and family members. Services to be announced at a later date. She died from a rare disease known as Multiple Systems Atrophy. |
