Anne Horne passed away at home peacefully with her family on October 30th, 2025. She is survived by her husband Joel, sister Claire, daughter Mary, son Ted, daughter-in-law Kristen, and two grandchildren.

Anne spent most of her adolescence in Florida where she attended Catholic High School. Anne received her bachelor's from Florida State University. She later met her husband Joel, moved to Atlanta, GA, and received a master's in education from Georgia State University. After retiring from teaching, she devoted her time to the Columbiettes organization dedicating spiritual and charitable service, as well as volunteering for adoration services at her church.

Anne was a member of Alpha Omicron Pi (AOII) at FSU and remained an active Alumni member, donating her time and support to the organization. She enjoyed going to FSU and GT homecomings, reunions, and football games. She spent part-time working sewing and altering formal evening dresses, researching family history and ancestry, and spending time with the family and pets.
