James (Jimmy) Wilton Martin, Sr. 55 of Pensacola died Sunday, February 26, 1995 in a local hospital.  Mr. Martin was a native of Pensacola.  He was employed as a Sub-Painting Contractor.  He is survived by his mother, Ruby B. Maritin; daughter, Cynthia M. Medici; two sons, James W. Martin, Jr. and Joseph Patrick Martin; sister, Joy Newsom; brother, Frank B. Martin; special friend, Eleece Gibson and five grandchildren.  Graveside services will be at 3 pm Thursday at St. John's Cemetery with the Rev. Charles Stanford officiating.  Faith Chapel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.  Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday from 1 pm to time of service.
