Ruby Nance Lamkin.  On December 4, 1995, J. Letcher Lamkim died.  Three weeks later, on Christmas Day, his wife of 56 years, Ruby Nance Lamkin, 84, joined him in Heaven.  The Lamkins were longtime active members of First Baptist Church of Pensacola, where they faithfully served the Lord together.  Now they have begun eternity together.  The Lamkins had resided in Pensacola since 1959.  She was born in Camp Creek, SC.  Mrs. Lamkin was retired from civil service and Chevron Oil Company.  She is survived by her sister-in-law, Evelyn E. McCay; and close friends and special neighbors.  Waters and Hibbert Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.  Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. with funeral services at 11 a.m. Friday in the Waters and Hibbert Chapel with Bill Santo, associate pastor of First Baptist Church officiating.
