Kelly H. (Buddy) Linton.  Jesus called Buddy home on Tuesday, June 26, 2001.  Buddy was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and a retired automobile mechanic.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Brink and Claudie Linton; brother, Windal Linton; and grandson Austin Barnes.  Survivors include his loving wife, Dolores Linton; children Susan (Mike) Barnes, Kelly (Terry) Howard, and Gina (Danny) Hunley; grandchildren, Ryan and Nicholas Barnes, Terra, A.J., Jacob and Hannah Howard, Timothy Romero, Seth, and Brooke Hunley; and sister, Dorothy Bobe.  Funeral services will be 2 p.m. on Friday, June 29, 2001 at Faith Chapel Funeral Home South with the Rev. Herbert Shepherd and the Rev. Matt Dunavant officiating.  Interment will follow in St. John's Cemerery.  Active pallbearers will be Rocky Bobe, Stevie Bobe, Tony Linton, Keith Linton, Joey Chiles, and Mike Barnes.  Honoraary Pallbearers will be Russell (Junior) Bobe, Mel Parker, and the Men's Sunday School of Calvary Baptist Church.  Faith Chapel Funeral Home, 100 Beverly Pkwy, is in charge of arrangements.  Visitation will be held 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday, June 29, 2001 at Faith Chapel.  The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of the Hospice of Northwest Florida for the care given to Buddy during his illness.  The family and friends will meet at 1212 East Burgess Road immediately following the service.
