Mrs. Edward W. Lurton, 91, of Louisville, Ky, died Friday, Jan. 3, 1997.  She was the former Minnie Selby of Birmingham, AL.  Mrs. Lurton was a graduate of the Louisville Conservatory of Music.  She was an accomplised misician and retired as a music teacher.  She is survived by her daughter, Alleine Schroyens of Ghent, Belgium, and Katherine Stutzenberger of Louisville; a sister Katherine Selby, both of Louisville; and two grandchildren.  Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in St. John's Cemetery.  Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
