DOROTHY YONGE MACDUFF

Dorothy Yonge MacDuff, 94, of Pensacola died Thursday, July 5, 2001. 

Mrs. MacDuff was a native of Pensacola.  She was a member of Christ Episcopal Church and Delta Delta Delta Sorority.  Mrs. MacDuff was a graduate of Florida State College for Women (now FSU).

She spent most of her adult life as a resident of Daytona Beach in the insurance business.  She returned to Pensacola after the death of her husband, Dan C. MacDuff in 1981 and resided at Azalea Trace.

Mrs. MacDuff was the daughter of Henry M. Yonge and Mary E. Yonge Conner, both deceased, of  Pensacola; and the granddaughter of the late prominent Pensacolian, P. K. Yonge, who spent many years in the furtherance of higher education in the State of Florida.

Survivors include her nephew, Joel Horne of Marietta, GA; her niece, Joan Horne Guarino of Springfield, VA; and several cousins.

Funeral services will be at 4 p.m. Tuesday at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Father Bob Graves of Christ Church officiating.

The family will receive friends immediately before the service beginning at 3 p.m.  Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
