Herbert Lee Murray, age 79, of Pensacola, Florida, died on Friday, July 27, 2001 at a local nursing care facility.  A native and life long resident of Pensacola, Florida, Herbert served during World War II with the U.S. Army.  He then worked with the Civil Service, retiring as a Sheet Metalist.  Herbert has been a member of the Elks, Lodge #497, since 1959 and he was Catholic by faith.  Herbert is survived by his loving wife, Mary Helen; stepsons, Vince Seely, Jr., (Diane), and Richard H. Seely, and a granddaughter, Rachel Seely.  The funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, July 30, 2001, graveside at Saint John's Cemetery, with Msgr. Michael Reed, officiating.  A visitation will be held at harper-Morris Memorial Chapel from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 30, 2001 prior to the service.  There will be a procession to  Saint John's for the interment.  Harper-Morris Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
