Necie McVay Olsen, 76 of Gulf Breeze died Monday, November 24, 1997.  Mrs. Olsen was a native of Coffeeville, AL, but had been a resident of Pensacola for most of her life.  She was a past President of the Escambia County Medical Auxillary and a member of the Gateway Church of Christ, having been one of the original founders of the Gateway Ladies Bible Class.  Survivors include her husband, Dr. Julian O. Olsen, Jr.; three children, a daughter and son-in-law, Julie Olsen Young and her husband, James T.; two sons and daughters-in-law, Dr.Julian Ole Olsen III and his wife Glenda, Niel Applegate Olsen and his wife Beth Ann; seven grandchildren, Necie Elizabeth Young, Joshua Olsen Young, Aimee Olsen, Emily Olsen, Erik Olsen, Ashley Olsen, Abbey Olsen and one sister Dorothy Celano.  Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m., Friday at Waters & Hibbert Chapel with Evangelists Chris Seidman and Harold Mobley officiating.  Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery.  Friends may call at Waters & Hibbert Chapel after 1:00 p.m., Friday.  Waters & Hibbert is in charge of arrangements.
