Woodrow Wilson Peagler 1912-2002, age 90, of Pensacola, peacefully and willingly accepted his GLORIOUS GRADUATION DAY  diploma from life's earthly course to the open arms of Jesus on Tuesdy, June 4, 2002.  Woodrow was a wonderfully devoted husband, father, and grandfather, who never wavered in his  Christian faith for over 65 years.  He was well-known as one of the best indepth Bible teachers throughout the Assembly of God Churches.  In later years, he was the pastor of the Roeville Assembly of God Church and ministered at Chumuckla and New Hope Asssembly of God , Springhill Assembly of God, and numerous other churches in Pensacola and the surrounding areas.  He retired from civil service at the Naval Air Station, Pensacola.  Woodrow was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Nellie Ree Peagler, of 59 years on March 18, 2002.  They are now reunited hand in hand with the Lord.  He is survived by his loving daughter, Marilyn Carter Gillenwater of Pensacola; three grandchildren, Tammy Bishop, Kevin Gillenwater, and Sean Gillenwater; three great grandchildren, Shaina, Josh, and Caleb Bishop; one sister, Nellie Bowman of Pensacola.  THE CELEBRATION OF THE VICTORIOUS HOMEGOING will be 3:00 P.M. Sunday, June 9, 2002 at the First Church of the Open Bible located at 130 North Pace Blvd., Pensacola, FL., with the Rev. John Franklin officiating.  Trahan Mortuary Services, 419 Yoakum Court, Pensacola, FL., is in charge of arrangements.  Viewing and visitation will begin at the church on Sunday, June 9, 2002 at 1:30 P.M.  A private burial will be on Monday, June 10, 2002 at the St. John's Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorials be made only to Dad's "close to heart" charity, Teen Challenge, 1213 Hope Lane, Bonifay, FL 32525, Attention: Kim Miles in memory of "Woodrow Wilson Peagler".  A special thanks to Covenant Hospice, our church family at The Church of the Open Bible, and an extra heartfelt thanks to Trahan Mortuary for their beyond the call of duty support, help and guidance in my time of need for both my Mom and Dad's departures within just a few months of each other.
