Dorothy Roberta Peake, passed away peacefully on October 5, 1998 at her home on Peake's Fairpoint in Gulf Breeze.  Miss Peake was preceded in death by her mother, Bertha Pfeiffer Peake; her father, E.W. Peake, Sr.; and her brother E.W. Peake, Jr.  She was born on May 29, 1909 and was a lifelong resident of Pensacola.  She was faithful member of Immanuel Lutheran Church.  After attending Florida State College for Women, Miss Peake touched the lives of hundreds of 3rd and 5th graders at E.J. Wilson, O.J. Semmes and Allie Ynestra Elementary School where she taught for 20 years.  Survivors include her cousins, Bill Williams, LoisSkinner, Janice Halbert, Joyce Lindsay, Barbara Peterson and Shay Morton and her caring extended family who surrounded her with love on Fairpoint for many years.  The family wishes to thank Dr. Henry Young and Dr. Alejandro Incian for their comfort over the years.  The family also wants to thank Shirley Singleton, Christina Humphreys, Peggy Fulmore, and Beulah Boone for their loving care during the recent months.  Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, October 8, 1998 at Immanuel Lutheran Church with Pastor Stephen Kamprath officiating.  Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery.  Active pallbearers will be Glenn McDonald, Johnny Bearden, Allen Morton, Phillip Pfeiffer, David Reinhardt, Wilfred Schrader.  Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.  Friends may call at the funeral home from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday.
