Jean Schwartz Roark, 77, of Pensacola went on to her new life on Wednesday, August 23, 1995.  Mrs. Roark was born in Wilkes-Barre, PA, and had been a resident of Pensacola sinve 1946.  She was a graduate of Balboa High School, U.S. Canal Zone, and the University of Arizona, where she was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma.  A former registered dietician, Mrs. Roark had a lifelong interest in nutrition and organic gardening.  She was a member of the Pensacola Organic Club, the Women for Responsible Legislation and the Warrington Presbyterian Church.  She was preceded in death by George J. Roark, Jr.  Survivors include her two sons and daughters-in-law, Jim and Lin Roark and Don and Patti Roark; daughter and son-in-law, Patsy and Alex Skuropat; brother, Karl Schwartz III; and six grandchildren, Danica, Sean, Devin, Ian, Aislinn and Tammy.  Waters and Hibbert Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday.  Funeral services will be 12:30 p.m. Friday, August 25, in the Warrington Presbyterian Church with the Rev.  Robert Hornick, officiating.  Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery.
