James Dalton Salmons, Jr., 56, of Pensacola died Thursday, December 12, 1996.  He was a native and lifelong resident of Pensacola, a member of the Fairfield Presbyterian Church and a veteran of the Vietnam War.  Survivors include a son, Joseph Salmons; a daughter, Juanita Salmons Nall and her husband, Vince; a grandson, Charlie Vincent "Junior" Nall; his mother, Louise Oechsle Salmons; brother, Albert Paul Salmons of Opelika. AL; and two nephews, Jonathan and Matthew  Salmons.  Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Waters and Hibbert Funeral Home with the Rev. Charles G. Debardeleben officiating.  Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery.  Waters and Hibbert Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.  Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 4 p.m. today.  Pallbearers will be the deacons and elders of the Fairfield Presbyterian Church.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the McIlwain Memorial Presbyterian Church, or the Fairfield Presbyterian Church.
