Joseph Agustus Walker, 91, of Pensacola died Monday, June 4, 2001 at a local hospital.  Mr. Walker was born in Pensacola on May 15, 1910 and he attended local schools.  He met his future wife in the first grade.  He joined the U.S. Navy at the age of 15 and served 4 1/2 years.  He returded home and married Inez B. Hall, and went to work at the Old Navy Hospital as an Electrician and X-Ray Repairman.  He later worked for the supply Department of the Civil Service, NAS Pensacola, and yet later with the O. & R. Department of the Civil Service.  Retiring in 1959 as a GS 15, he opened his own business Walker Electric in November 1967 and was President of Escambia County Electrical Contractors Association in 1984 and served as President of the Church Council at Immanuel Lutheran Church.  Mr. Walker was preceded in death by two sons, William Joseph Walker and Clifton Agustus Walker.  Survivors include his wife of 69 years, Inez B. (Sue) Walker and son, Thomas A. Walker, both of Pensacola.  Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, June 7, 2001 at Immanuel Lutheran Church with Pastor Stephen Kamprath officiating.  Burial will follow at St. John's Cemetery.  Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.  Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 6, 2001 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 24 West Wright Street.
