Gladys Louise Brown Workman, 84, of Pensacola, died peacefully Wednesday, February 16, 2000 in her home surrounded by her children, grandchildren and special friends.  Mrs. Workman was a resident of Pensacola and owner of DeLuna Motor Hotel and Workman's Cleaners for many years.  She served as past Director of the Pensacola Motel Association.  She promoted tourism in Northwest Florida, was a past member of the Zonta Club, Pensacola Chamber of Commerce, Pensacola Country Club, Pensacola Garden Club and was listed in the 1965 Who's Who of American Women.  Mrs. Workman was preceded in death by her husband, Wiley Eugene Workman, parents, Ema Louise Creighton Brown and Capt. Edward Brown; and three sons, Ronald Edward, Wiley Eugene,Jr. and Michael David Workman. Survivors include a brother and sister-in-law, Shirley J. and Flora Brown; brother, Freddie Brown; daughters, Mary Diana Kettenring and Suzanne Donna Workman; a son, William Gary (Nansie) Workman; loving daughter-in-law, Bettye Workman; devoted son-in-law, Bill Kettenering; a special friend, Evelyn Harbeson.  Her life was dedicated to her grandchildren. Wendy Kettenring, Gupta, Scott and Michael Kettenring, Kimberly Embry Moorehead, Jennifer and Lauren Embry, James Embry,Todd, Jackie, Mandy, Phillip, Tori and Tara Workman, Wiley, Richard and Vanessa Workman; and twelve great grandchildren.  Services will be held at 3 p.m., Sunday in the Chapel of First Presbyterian Church with Dr. Roger A. Nicholson officiating.  Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Scott Kettenring, Michael Kettenring, James Embry, Todd Workman, Brody Moorehead, and Will Whitman.  Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.  Friends may call at the funeral home from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday.
