Evelyn M. Call Brown, 92, of Pensacola died Saturday, October 8, 1994, in a local hospital following an extended illness.  Mrs. Brown was a lifelong resident of Pensacola, a retired school teacher for 40 years and was a 20 year member of Christ Episcopal Church.  She was an alumnus of Bethune Cookman College and Tuskegee Institute.  Mrs. Brown was an accomplished pianist, organist and choir director and was affiliated with numerous civic and community organizations.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry J. Brown, and a daughter, Atwaul B. Bennett.  Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Evelyn and Robert Joseph and Gilda and Charles Marvray, all of Pensacola; son and daughter-in-law, Esmond and Mattie Brown of Wilmington, DE; sisters and brother-in-law, Helen and Odell Brown of Philadelphia and Margie Call of Panama City; sister-in-law, Julia B. McCurdy of Pensacola; 13 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.  Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday in Christ Episcopal Church with Dr. B. Currin officiating.  Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be grandsons.  Benboe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.  There will be no family hour but friends may view Mrs. Brown after 12 p.m. (noon) Wednesday.
