Frank Pou Forster was born on March 8, 1922 and passed away on October 30, 2017. He attended Escambia County Schools graduating from Pensacola High School in 1940. He earned a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering at Alabama Polytechnic Institute (now Auburn University) in 1944. He immediately went to Naval Officer's Candidate School at Columbia University in New York City. He was assigned to a mine-sweeper and after clearing mines from the mouth of the Mississippi his ship was sent to the Pacific front where he was when WWII ended. 
He moved to Atlanta, GA and worked as a quality control chemist with the Coca-Cola Company. He returned to Auburn University in 1957 and earned a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering. He then worked at Newport News Naval Facility in the testing laboratories and when a similar opening became available at Pensacola NAS, he returned home and managed the testing laboratories there until his retirement in 1987.
He was pre-deceased by his wife, Helen White Forster, of 58 years. He is survived by his daughter; Rebecca Czach (Rick) and their daughter; Susan, his son; David Forster (Christine) and their sons; Lewis Roy and Troy Forster.
Frank was a life-long and fourth generation member of St. John's Episcopal Church in Warrington. Special thanks to the staff at Sacred Heart Hospital, The Life Care Center, Stat Home Health, and Home Care Solutions. 
A visitation will be held Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at Oak Lawn Funeral Home from 12-1 pm with a funeral service beginning at 1 pm. An interment will follow at St. John's Cemetery. Oak Lawn Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.
