Jacob Nathaniel Burks, 91, of  Pensacola died Sunday, February 12, 1995, in a local hospital.  Mr. Burks was born in Millport, AL and had resided in Pensacola for the  past 49 years.  He was retired from civil service from NAS Pensacola and was a member of the Naval Masonic Lodge No. 24.  Mr. Burks belonged to the Warrington Baptist Church.  Survivors include his son, Jacob Nathaniel Burks, Jr. of Gainesville; daughters, Martha Mitchell of Mineola, TX, Joyce Block, Hazel Dagle, both of Pensacola, and Dolores Brennan of Houston; sisters, Neva Rayfield of Tennessee and Beatrice Fields of York, AL; 10 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.  Oak Lawn Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 14, in the Oak Lawn Chapel with Dr. Denton Sumrall, pastor of Warrington Baptist Church officiating.  Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery.
