Augustine was a Private in Company A, 2 Regt., a Florida Confederate Veteran.  In Escambia County on November 14, 1871, he applied for license to marry Catharine H. Davenport.  The license was not returned.  Catherine N. Davenport was born May 5, 1848 Florida, daughter of John and Adele Davenport.  Augustine and Catherine were the parents of six known children: Ella, Martin D., George D., Ealia, twins Clairance and Clara Villar.   Augustine Villar died January 1, 1910, buried next to Martin D. Villar and his wife Emma T. Villar, Nellie Louise Villar, Velma Villar Turnbull, Edna Villar Hayford and her husband Byron L. Hayford.
