Edward Del Buono 1926-2004, age 77, of Pensacola, passed away on Saturday, October 16, 2004.  Mr. Buono was a native of & life long resident of Escambia County.  He was a member of St. Stephen Catholic Church.  He was a retired letter carrier in the Pensacola area with 33 years of service.  He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.  His parents, Angelo and Rosa preceded him in death.  Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Joyce Buono; son John G. Buono; three grandsons, John Christopher Buono, Edward Buono and James Matthew Buono; aunts, uncles, other relatives and many friends.  Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 22 at St. Stephen Catholic Church with Father Hector R.G. Perez, S.T.D. celebrant.  Interment will follow in St. John's Cemetery, "G" Street.  Pallbearers will be Sam Catanzno, Johnny Hudson, Bobby Paine, Jerry Russo, Don Stubblefield and Pat Thomason.  Honorary pallbearers will be Johnny Cascone and William St. John.  Faith Chapel Funeral Home South, 100 Beverly Pkwy, is in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends at Faith Chapel South from 6 to 8 p.m. with recitation of Rosary at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 21.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the church of your choice.
