~~Ina Margaret Lynn, 90, Pensacola native and former teacher at Ensley Elementary School, passed away peacefully from natural causes at Holy Cross Hospital in Silver Spring, MD on August 20, 2010.Known by some friends as "Brownie", Ina Margaret was born in Pensacola on December 2, 1919. After graduating from Florida State College for Women (now FSU), she married Woodrow L. Lynn, and lived at 604 W. Blount Street with him and their two children, Marsha and Lawrence. Deeply dedicated to literacy, Ina Margaret taught children with learning disabilities at Ensley Elementary School for 17 years. Even after retiring from service at Ensley, she continued tutoring children and adults in literacy as a volunteer. She was instrumental in opening the Speech and Hearing Center at Baptist Hospital and received the Joan Gonzalez award one year for outstanding Junior League sustainer.Active in her church and community, Ina Margaret was a member of the First Methodist Church, the Junior League, Kappa Delta sorority, DAR, and NOMADS. Ina Margaret is survived by her daughter, Marsha Youngblood in Silver Spring, Maryland; her son, Lawrence Lynn in California; 3 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.Visitation will be held 9:00am until the Funeral Service beginning at 10:00am Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at First United Methodist Church, 6 E. Wright St., Pensacola, Florida.
