Robert was married on April 25, 1923 to Annie Bessie, and parents of two known sons, Ronald and Robert Rouse.  Robert Schuy Rouse died May 24, 1978.  From Fisher-Pou records: owner of Better Hearing Aid Service; Boy Scout Executive; father was Robert Hudson Rouse; mother was Nellie Burnside.  From their obituary: “survivors: wife Bessie M. Rouse; two sons, Dr. Ronald Rouse of N.J., and Dr. Robert M. Rouse of Washington.”  He is buried next to his wife.
