Dorian Ernest Penton, 80, passed away 7 May 2012 at his home in Tallahassee, Florida. He was a native of Pensacola, Florida. He served in the U.S. Air Force, was a member of American Legion Post 340, was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose and had his fellowship degree. He was a lifelong member of the Sailfish Legion 197 of Okeechobee, Florida. He is survived by his wife Joyce of 64 years, two daughters Dora Ann (Leroy) Raybon, Donna Lee Bates, one son Dorian Wayne (Dorothy) Penton Sr., seven grandchildren, one deceased, 16 great- grandchildren, one brother Don Julian (Ellen) Penton, two brother - in - laws Billie Kinnard and Oliver (Pam) Nellums, a cousin like a brother Adrian (Sophie) Blanton and a life long friend Skippy Edwards. Graveside serves will be Saturday, 20 October 2012 at 2 P.M. at Historic St. John's Cemetery, 301 North "G" Street, Pensacola, Florida. He was loved by all who knew him and will be missed greatly.
