Gary Franklin Wiseman, 62, passed away on Wednesday, July 28, 2021. He was born in Pensacola, FL on October 18, 1958, to the late Cecil Franklin Wiseman and Marjorie Carolyn Hawk Wiseman.

Gary graduated with honors from Escambia High School in 1977 and the University of West Florida in 1981. He worked for 30 years at Eglin Air Force Base as a Testing Engineer. Gary was a lifelong astronomer and member of the Escambia Amateur Astronomers Association (EAAA) of Pensacola. He also enjoyed researching his family’s genealogy and was an avid meteorologist.

Left to cherish Gary’s memories are his sister, Gail Lynn Wiseman Ringo and his brother, Glen Frederick Wiseman; his aunts and uncle Dr. Rodney Smith and Marsena Hawk Smith and Martha Jean Jordan Hazen, and his cousins Angela Greer, Jordan Hazen, Allison Hazen, Michael Smith and Henry Janes.

Gary’s memorial services will begin on Tuesday, August 3, 2021 with visitation from 10:00 – 11:00 am and funeral service beginning at 11:00 am at Family-Funeral and Cremation with Chaplain Alan Ford officiating. Burial will immediately follow at St. Johns Cemetery in Pensacola, FL.
