Louise Turner Horne, 88 years old, entered into Paradise February 22, 2014, surrounded by loved ones.

Louise was born on August 27, 1925, and lived in the family home where she was born for her first 80 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank S. and Effie Mae Horne, her sisters Suzanne Yarbrough ("Sister"), Winnie Merritt, brother Frank Horne ("Brother"), and her beloved cats, Suzy and Missy. She leaves her twin sister Lois Kemp, sister Janice Wright and many special nieces and nephews, all who loved her dearly.

Louise was an incredible individual who studied art, including water colors and oil painting, in her later years. She indeed produced many beautiful pieces of art. She also studied and earned her LPN degree in her middle sixties.

She was an active member of the Audubon Society and loved bird watching, a member of the First Presbyterian Church, and a retiree of the City of Pensacola Water Department.

For many years in the '50s and '60s Louise owned a beach house in Perdido where her family gathered and had many special times, including fire works on the Fourth of July!
