Donald V. Kelly, 84, passed away after a battle with cancer on Saturday, December 15, 2018.

Donald was born in 1934 to William and Ethel Kelly (Pensacola natives) and was the youngest of six children. After graduating from Catholic High School he was drafted into the Army in 1956 and served for four years. After leaving the Army he was a licensed contractor and co-owner of Pyramid Homes, building homes in West Pensacola. He also worked at NAS until his retirement. Donald met Martha Godwin at Olive Baptist Church and they got married in 1982. Together they ran KellyCo Flower Shop on Scenic Highway until they retired and moved to North Carolina. After returning to Pensacola a few years ago, he enjoyed remodeling his East Pensacola home, visiting with neighbors, family, and church friends.

He is survived by his wife, Martha Godwin Kelly; his five children, Stephen Kelly (Natasha), Susan Jacques (Scott), Kim Dillard (Erick), Michelle Gore (Pete), and Sandi Heckman (Mike); as well as nine grandchildren.

Visitation will be held 1:30pm until the Funeral Service begins at 2:30pm Monday, December 17, 2018 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel with Pastor Jeff Bailie of Faith Baptist Church officiating. Interment will immediately follow at St. John’s Cemetery.
