Lucy was born in Puerto Rico to John D. and Eleanor Diamond.  She grew up in San Juan, becoming fluent in Spanish.  At around 19 years of age, she moved to Sarasota, FL, where began as waitress.  In 1985, she Glenn Schooley of Brandenton, FL and had two children, Christopher Glenn and Kathryn Brannon.  She always be remembered by her sweet nature and kind smile.  She beat cancer but experienced later complications.  She is loved and missed.
