Adolph F. "Dede" Pfeiffer, 74, died Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at the Covenant Joyce Goldenberg Hospice Inpatient Residence in Pensacola following a long battle with heart disease.

Preceded in death by his parents, Edmund "Ned" and Dorothy (Tipton) Pfeiffer and sister, Patricia (Pfeiffer) Bowyer.

He leaves his wife of 47 years, Carol Ward Pfeiffer; his daughter, Suzanne Pfeiffer; his brother, Charles T. "Tommy" Pfeiffer and his wife Dottie; his brother, Rick Pfeiffer; many friends; and three heart-broken miniature schnauzers.

Born and raised in Pensacola, he worked at the family business, Pfeiffer Printing Company, Inc., nearly forty years before retiring. An avid hunter, he was a member of the Panhandle Bow Hunting Association. He loved to spend time in the woods enjoying nature and brought home more pictures of deer than the animals themselves. Above all his pastimes, though, was his love of revelry, best exhibited in his long-time membership to the Krewe of Lafitte where his service included float captain.

Visitation will be held 5-7pm Monday, May 18, 2015 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel in Pensacola. Funeral Service will be held 11:00am Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel with Msgr. Michael Reed officiating. Burial will follow at St. John's Cemetery.
