Walker and Phoebe Anderson are found in the 1850 Escambia County census with 10 children.  Walker Anderson died January 18, 1857, at age 55 years.  Widow Phoebe Anderson is listed in the 1860 census with seven children and daughter-in-law.  The known children of Walker and Phoebe Anderson were Cameron (b.ca1824 NC), Julia H. (b.ca1828 NC), Jeanie Cameron (1831-1891 NC.; married Wm H. Davison; buried #1-9), Edward E. (b.ca1834 NC), Walker Jr. (b.ca1835 NC), Virginia D. (b.ca1839 FL), Rosalind R. (b.ca1842 FL), Duncan C. (b.ca1844 FL), Mildred (b.ca1847 FL), and Halcott C. (1850-1905 FL).  Daughter Jeanie C. Davison’s tombstone says she was born in Lochiel, Hillsberg, North Carolina.  Walker Anderson and his wife Phoebe are listed on the monument in the Anderson plot.
