Arlene G. Kressler Otto was born in the North West Township near Allentown, Pennsylvania on August 16, 1934. She moved very early in life with her family to Pensacola, Florida. As a teenage bride, she moved to the Barrineau Park area where she resided from 1948 to 1991 when she retired to the Chumuckla Community of Santa Rosa County.
She is survived by her daughters, Georgia (Harvey) Smith and Debra Wages; sons, James K. Otto, Jr. and Erich (Debbie) Otto; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren who were dear to her heart.
Arlene was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, James K. Otto, Sr.; her oldest son and first born, Fritz Karl Otto, II; great-grandson, Tyler Wages; father, Alfred Kressler; and mother, Elsie Kressler.
Mrs. Otto was a graduate of the School of Nursing at Pensacola Junior College and had tenure of 35 years with Baptist Hospital in Pensacola. She was certified as an Intensive Coronary Care Technician by Baptist Hospital May 27, 1970 by way of in-service training and complete post graduate studies at Pensacola Junior College in Psychiatric Nursing. She worked in nursing services at Baptist for 30 years in ICCU and another 5 years in Central Monitoring of cardiac patients.
She was a loving wife, mother and Mammaw and she enjoyed her children and their extended families. After retirement she enjoyed crafts, fresh water fishing, and shopping yard sales.
Active pallbearers will be her grandsons and family, Kenneth, Kurtis, Luke, Clifton, Jeff and Paul. 
Private Graveside Services will be held on Tuesday, April 14, 2020 at St. John’s Cemetery.
