He was born in Pyrgos, Greece, to Georgia and Haralambos Konstantopoulos, moved to Pensacola in 1955, sponsored by sister Lee Varazo, and married his wife Sia in 1961. They opened and ran businesses, including Busy Bee and Bill's in Warrington. He worked at the Halfway House Café, and Martine's.

Speros was preceded in death by his parents, brother Aris, and sisters Dora Sfanos, Lee Varazo and Chrisoula Bethoulkas. Surviving are his loving and nurturing wife, Sia, of 53 years, daughter Georgia Stanton, grandson Christopher, whom he loved and adored, teaching him all the Greek songs, and many nieces and nephews as well as his favorite niece Georgia Chestnut, who was also by his side. He was a full time grandfather, very dedicated to the wellbeing of all his family members. It was his lifelong dream to become a grandfather.

Speros loved being generous to all in need. He quietly helped anonymously.
