William Ambrasius Anderson was born June 4, 1892 in Pensacola, son of Andrew and Sena Anderson. He married Annie B. Smith, and they were the parents of known child Margery Lee Anderson. Retired USCG. William A. Anderson died February 17, 1968. From Fisher-Pou obituary: "William Ambrasius Anderson, 76, died Saturday...native...veteran of WWI...survivors; widow Annie S. Anderson; daughter Mrs. Hugh A. Brown; two brothers, Martin and Ernest." Their records says he retired from the U.S. Coast Guard, parents were Andrew Anderson and Sena Seiveson. William is buried next to his wife Annie Anderson, with joint headstone. Also in family plot are daughter Margery Lee Anderson Brown and her husband Hugh Ambus Brown (one stone), Shorty Short Stuff Brown, and Tiny Tiger Brown. | |
