Pamela Sharon (Porter) Engstrom, 76, passed away peacefully on June 17, 2025, in Pensacola, Florida, with her two sons by her side.

Born on February 14, 1949, at Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola, Pamela’s life was a reflection of her generous heart and creative spirit. A proud graduate of Pensacola Technical High School, Class of 1967, she went on to touch countless lives as a talented craft artist, sharing beauty and meaning through everything she created.

Pamela was a devoted mother, a loving daughter, and a steadfast friend. Her passions included old movies, art, poetry, sewing, and the companionship of dogs - especially the many she lovingly fostered and raised over the years. She had an uncanny ability to sense when someone needed comfort, and she often set aside her own needs to support those around her. Her kindness was quiet but far-reaching.

She is preceded in death by her beloved parents, Flora Mae (Parrish) Porter and Walter G. Porter Jr., and by her sister, Barbara Ginger Porter.

She is survived by her sons, Michael Engstrom and Eric Engstrom (Hayley), and her cherished grandson, Lukas Engstrom.

She will be remembered by her former husband, George Henry Engstrom.

Pamela also leaves behind many dear friends and family who will remember her indomitable spirit, infectious laughter, and the warmth she so freely gave. Her presence will echo gently in the hearts of all who knew and loved her, and she will be dearly missed.
