Rita was a native of Pensacola, Florida and graduated from Pensacola High School, Class of 1940. She was an employee of Fisher-Brown Inc. for 66 years.

She was a member of The Basilica of St. Michael the Archangel where she served as a Eucharistic Minister, Lector and on the Altar Society.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Elizabeth Campbell and Robert Arthur Weber; two brothers, John Theodore and Herbert Thomas Weber; and, her Grandfather, Theodore Weber, a well-known artist, designer and builder of Mardi Gras floats in Pensacola in the 1800's.

She is survived by her son, Patrick J. Finneran, Jr. and her brother Robert A. Weber. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Patrick J. Finneran III (Gena); Kelly Finneran Herman (Derek); Lieutenant Colonel Robert B. Finneran USMC (Susan); Matthew P. Finneran and six great grandchildren: Skyler, Tate and Trey Herman; Rylee and Ryan Finneran and Abigale Finneran. Rita is also survived by her nieces Ann Horne (Joel), Emily Claire McCarty (Dennis), Deborah Guynes (Barney), Betty Weber, Karen Nalls and Mary Norris (Don) as well as nephew Robert W. Weber.

Pallbearers will be Patrick J. Finneran III, Lt. Col. Robert B. Finneran, Matthew P. Finneran, Robert W. Weber(Nephew); John Michael Geist and Donald D. Bowersox.

Mass of the Resurrection will be Monday November 23, at 10:00 a.m. at the Basilica of St. Michael the Archangel, 19 N. Palafox St., Pensacola, FL. with the Very Reverend Joseph P. Callipare as Celebrant. The Rosary will be Sunday November 22, from 4p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Waters & Hibbert Funeral Home. The eulogy will immediately follow the rosary from 4:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Visitation will follow until 7:00 p.m.

A special thanks to Dr. Amos Prevatt and his staff for their dedication and kindness. We also want to express our appreciation to the Haven of Our Lady of Peace. Finally, we want to give special recognition to Ms. Jenny Caro for her loving care.
