Jack learned at an early age the value of hard work, perseverance towards goals and the love and support of family. He also enjoyed taking time to enjoy outdoor pursuits and exploring Civil War history across the nation.

Jack graduated from Pensacola High School in 1949. He went on to serve in the Air Force during the Korean Conflict and later graduated from Howard College (now Samford University) in 1961 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacy. When he returned to Pensacola as a pharmacist, he worked for the late George Gillette, Woody Whigham and Herbert Clayton. He eventually realized his goal of business ownership when he purchased Bevis Pharmacy and served the surrounding community for seventeen years. He also was a Mason in the Scottish Rite, York Rite and the Shriners.

Jack will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 57 years, Iyolene Lard Arnold; his three daughters, Deninne (Lou) Dina of Birmingham, AL, Brenda Arnold of Pensacola, and Dana (Pat) Schmidt of Birmingham, AL; and his two grandsons, Jordan and Jason Schmidt. He is also survived by his two brothers, Bill Arnold and Howard (LeAnne) Arnold and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his son, Bryan Keith Arnold, sister-in-law, Maxine (Bill) Arnold, father-in-law, Lonnie Lard, mother-in-law, Mildred Balkom Lard, and brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Lonnie and Amelia Sullivan Lard.
