Helen Young Ware lived a long, full life and was loved by so many. She was most content on the water, where she could spend all day fishing or teaching her daughters how to water ski, even though she never learned swim herself.

An expert seamstress, talented cook and skilled carpenter, she was true renaissance woman. Even more impressive, she used those gifts to bestow love and kindness to everyone around her. If you knew Helen, you likely got invited over for “a bite to eat” or benefitted from her endless spirit of generosity. She was our Mom, our Granny, our friend, and she will be missed deeply. 

Survivors are Daughters Donna Bullock, Pam Rutherford, Tami Young Martin(Alex), Patti Young Taylor(Terry), Grandchildren Brandi Duncan(David), Casey Harris, Kelly Ervin(Jeff), Elias Martin, Morganne Lee, Hale Lee, Samuel Taylor, Great Grandchildren Tinsley, Jack & Everly Ervin, Joshua Duncan, Special Nieces Brenda Foster & Doris Helton and one beloved dog companion named Sally. 

Services will be at Pensacola Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, visitation on Tuesday, May 21 from 5 to 7pm and the funeral service on Wednesday, May 22 at 1pm.
