Arnetta Sarina Patti Patane, 93, of Pensacola, FL passed away surrounded by her loving family Sunday, July 2, 2017.

She was born in St. Louis, MO on October 4, 1923. She was known as “Aunt Arnetta” to all at Joe Patti’s Seafood and Joey Patti’s Restaurant, working until 92. She was a kind-hearted and loving mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. She served many years on committees on the Ladies Auxiliary, Knights of Columbus #778.

Arnetta was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence; her son, Lawrence “Larry” Patane; parents, Ernest and Arnetta Grace Patti; brothers and sister in-laws, Tino (Virginia) Patti Sr., Ernest (Mary) Patti Jr.; daughter in-law, Jean Patane; great-grandson, Nicholas Hendra; cousin sister, Julia Marie Clarice, and special loving friend, Gloria Ferraro.

She is survived by her son, Salvatore Joseph Patane; daughters, Arnetta Grace (Robert) Holifield, Josephine Ann (Peter) Shurden; grandchildren, Patti Holifield (Shannon) Payne, Christina Holifield (Stevie) Mason, Robert (Bobby) Holifield, Peter L. Shurden Jr., Ernest Faro Shurden, Arnetta Sarina Shurden, Lawrence J. (Lee) Patane, Kevin Michael Patane, Salvatore J. (SA) Patane Jr., Angela Patane (Henry) Thompson, James Hamm, Tina Hamm, Lauren Patane, and Angel Ramona Patane; great-grandchildren, Jessica Payne Jowers, Brianna Payne, Richard A. (Amanda) Hicks Sr., Josie M. Mason, Stevie Mason Jr., Lanie Grace Mason, Tyler Holifield, Jayson Holifield, Elana Shurden, Maddie Shurden, Tristin Patane, Zachary Patane, Ashley Hendra (Chase) McClung, Trenton Hamm, Westin Bradshaw; great-great grandchildren, Richard A. Hicks Jr., Ayden Clear, Ariel, Charlie and Cheyanne McClung; special loving nephews, Frank Patti, Sr., Tino Patti Jr.; special loving nieces, Carolyn Kelson Hines, Josie Patti Merritt, Mary Kelson Harmon and Joyce Patti Sorg; loving friend, Daniel (Tony) Minton and family; as well as loving friend, Jean Harvey.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Bobby Holifield, Peter and Ernest Shurden, Lawrence, Kevin and Salvatore Patane and James Hamm.

Visitation will be 5-7pm Thursday, July 6, 2017 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel. Funeral Mass will be held 10:00am Friday, July 7, 2017 at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church, with Fr. Pat Foley celebrant. Interment will follow at St. John’s Cemetery.
