Susan Spears Moffett Williams was born on November 27, 1946 to the late Andrew W. Spears Sr. and Edna Mae Ross McMillan in Pensacola, FL.  She was raised under the nurture and admonition of the Lord.  Susan joined Sunlight Baptist Church at an early age and was baptised in 1955.  Later in life, she continued her service to the Lord and joined Greater Union Baptist Church.  Susan received her education in Escambia County public schools and graduated in 1963 from Booker T. Washington High School.  For many years she was employed at Pensacola Junior College.  In 2010, she retired from Armstrong World Industries and received a Certificate of Appreciation from fellow workers for 29 years of dedicated service.  "Sue Sue", as she was affectionately called, was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, and friend to many.  She departed this life on April 8, 2019.  She was preceeded in death by her loving parents: Andrew and Edna, and her brothers Andrew Spears Jr. and Raymond Spears.  She leaves to cherish her memory four daughters: Stephanie D. Cunningham, Veronica (Malcolm) Lindsey, Vicky (Reginald) Dogan and Constance E. Williams; five grandchildren: Alexis Robinson, Antjuan (LuTeece) Mims, Andrew Mims, Akeem Williams and Joshua Dogan; six great-grandchildren: Azaria Randall, Amariam Carter, Aaliyah Mims, A'lani Mims, Omari Mims; former husband Vernon Williams Jr.; mother: Polly Spears; three sisters: Linda Jordan, Felecia Spears, Monica (Brian) Walker; one brother: John (Annette) McMillian, and a host of family and friends.
