Clifford "Cliff" Adam Mayo, 55 of Pace, Florida passed away on August 19, 2023.
Cliff was born on August 13, 1968, in Pensacola, Florida. He was a 1986 graduate of Gulf Breeze High School. Cliff has worked as a commercial fisherman and in the construction industry. For the past thirteen years, he has worked as the maintenance supervisor for the Waterfront Mission. Cliff was a member of Coastline Calvary Chapel Gulf Breeze. He has selflessly served in prison ministry and construction team missions throughout Haiti.
Cliff grew up around the water and his love for boating and fishing continued into adulthood. He was known for his excellent cooking skills and always enjoyed cooking a variety of meals for his beloved family and friends. Cliff was very passionate about his family. He was a child at heart, and he loved many family vacations but always preferred his favorite destination, Disney World.
Cliff was preceded in death by his mother, Lois Cunningham Mayo; his father, Ellis Clifford Mayo; and a grandson, Arc Milas Mayo.
Cliff is survived by his wife of 18 years, Julie Serig Mayo; bonus mother, Madonna Ellis; sisters, Bonita Hendrix and Charmaine (Vic) Broxson; brother, JimEE (Page) Skinner; son, Jesse Mayo; daughters, Lauren (Matt) Jarrett, Sarah Mayo, Hannah (Mason) Gosselin, Carly Mayo; granddaughters, Abby Jarrett, Finley Jarrett and Mila Gosselin; aunt, Karen (Gene) Dees; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday August 29, 2023, at Lewis Funeral Home Milton Chapel, 6405 Highway 90 W Milton, Florida 32570, with visitation Monday August 28, 2023, from 6:00-8:00pm and service Tuesday August 29, 2023, at 11:00am. Interment will immediately follow at St. Johns Cemetery.
The family wishes to thank all the doctors, nurses, and staff of Ascension Sacred Heart for the love and care given to their beloved husband, father, brother, nephew, and uncle. Thank you for all the support of the Coastline Calvary Chapel family, Scenic Heights Elementary teachers and staff, Waterfront Mission, and numerous friends and family members.
