William A. Everitt was born September 30, 1858. When his daughter Daisy died in 1964, they listed her father as "Wm Augus Everitt". He was a druggist. In Washington County, Florida on January 19, 1879, W.A. Everitt married Florida Hannah. About 1883 the Everitt and Hannah families moved to Pensacola. William and Florida were the parents of two known daughters, Edna H and Daisy Everitt. W.A. Everitt died May 31, 1913. From Journal Sunday June 1, 1913: "W.A. Everitt died yesterday... resident for many years, having engaged in the drug business...was 55 years of age and is survived by two daughters, Mrs. J.H. Mock and Mrs. F.P. Hixon, both of the city...sister Mrs. J.M. Triggle of Chipley and a brother, George Everitt, who resides in Brandentown...born in Washington County, September 30, 1858...came to Pensacola 30 years ago." Buried next to his wife, daughter Daisy Everett Hixon and her husband Frank Petty Hixon M.D. (one stone), daughter Edna Everitt Mock and her husband J.H. Mock, and granddaughter Elizabeth Hixon Steele and her husband Theodore F. Foster M.D. (one stone).
