Godwin; mother and step-father Sybil Godwin Simmons and Doyle Simmons; daughter Martha Godwin; two sons, Alvin and A.Timothy Godwin; sister Barbara Ward of Pensacola...Harper-Morris in charge." He is buried in the A.O. Godwin family plot with joint headstone with his wife.
