| Gamaliel Bell Golay, known as "Gam", was born September 23, 1889, the son of Albert Armington Golay (1852-1900) and his wife Caroline Elizabeth Bell (1854-1936). He retired as secretary and treasurer of J.E. Daniels Insurance Company. On April 17, 1912 in Escambia County, Gamaliel Bell Golay married Mildred Rocheblave. Gam and Mildred Golay were the parents of one son, Thomas Albert Golay (1915-2006). Gamaliel Golay died May 28, 1966, with his obituary in the Journal Sunday, May 29, 1966. He is buried next to his wife Mildred Golay (one stone), sister Daisy Golay Robinson and her husband Robert James Robinson (one stone), and their son R.J. Robinson Jr.
