George Herman Hahn was born September 1, 1883, Pensacola, son of William F. and Ary (Loper) Hahn. He married Elsie Mae (maiden name unknown). Captain George Herman Hahn Capt Pensacola Fire Department died 9 April 1940. From Fisher-Pou obituary: "Captain George Herman Hahn, 56, died Tuesday... survivors: wife Mae Hahn; two sisters, Mrs. Hattie Johansen and Mrs. W.H. Walker; brother Theodore Hahn; daughter Mrs. Lillian Michaels; and two grandchildren." From their records, he was the son of W.F. Hahn born in Germany and his wife Ary Loper of Milton. He is buried in the Hahn family plot. Elsie Mae Hahn: Elsie Mae (maiden name unknown) was born January 20, 1886. She married George Herman Hahn. They were the parents of known daughter Lillian Hahn. There is no death date for Elsie Mae Hahn on her stone in the Hahn family plot. | |
