From her obituary, she married Charles Barnette, son of Wm M. Barnette. Della Mae Barnette died January 3, 1951 Lakeworth, Florida. From Fisher-Pou records and their obituary: “Della Mae Barnette, 62, died Thursday in Lakeworth, FL… survivors: husband Charles Barnette; three sisters, Mrs. Grace Jones of Ohio, Mrs. Florence Thils of Detroit, and Mrs. Nellie Arminger of Lakeworth; two brothers, Clyde and Guy Stephens of Cleveland.” She is buried in the Barnette family plot, with a double marker but nothing on the other side. Her husband Charles could have been buried in Lakeworth, Florida where he was living. | |
