Ira Monroe Laughton was born February 22, 1890 Florida, son of B.F. and Rosa Laughton. He was a P.V.T. with the Louisiana 153 Depot Brig. Ira M. Laughton died June 9, 1933. From Fisher-Pou records, Ira was the son of B.F. Laughton and his wife Rosa Jones (both of born in Florida), married, 43 years old at the time of his death, a railroad employee, with funeral ordered by B.F. Laughton. He is buried next to his brother Barney F. Laughton.
