William H. "Bill" Liberis, 78, of Pensacola died Friday, January 8, 1999, at home following a lengthy illness.  Mr. Liberis, a native of Pensacola, was born on June 21, 1920.  He was a graduate of Perkston Junior College and Southwestern University.  He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, having served in the South Pacific during World War II.  After 35 years with the City of Pensacola, Mr. Liberis retired as supervisor of utilities and customer service.  Survivors include his wife, Aileen Liberis; aunt, Edna Mae Ezell; mother-in-law, Martha Crabtree; brother-in-law, Kenneth Gerald (Gay) Crabtree; niece, Lisa (Jeff) Sanderson; and eight cousins, Dorothy Capps, Helen Cary, Dr. Gordon (Peg) Couch, Lynn (Billy) Couch, Joan (Buford) Hobson, Charles Liberis, Charles Porras and Johnny (Joyce) Porras.  Funeral services will be at noon Monday, January 11, 1999, in Waters & Hibbert Chapel with the Rev. Charles G. DeBardeleben, pastor of the McIlwain Memorial Presbyterian Church, officiating.  Waters and Hibbert Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.  Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday.  Pallbearers will be Nilo Porras, Larry Dumestre, Arthur Brown, Marty Sasse, Stan Heindel and Jim Prim.  Honorary pallbearers will be Dimitri Constantine, Joe Youmans, Bill Sadler, James Prim, Maj. C.J. Capps, Jim Jackson and cousins.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Parkinson Support Group or a charity of choice.
