Dorothy Shirley Aeppli, 71, of Pensacola, FL died Wednesday, August 3, 1994, in her residence.  A native of Laurel, MS, Mrs. Aeppli had been a resident of Pensacola for most of her life.  Shirley worked for over 20 years as a licenced practical nurse with Baptist Hospital and was a member of Brownsville Baptist Church.  Survivors include her two sons, James E. Aeppli and Vernon T. Aeppli, both of Pensacola; a daughter, Shelia Gibson of Hendersonville, NC; a brother, James Hilton; two sisters, Margarett Harless and Trixie Rucker, all of Lucedale, MS; and four grandchildren, Kelly Aeppli, Ian Aeppli, Michael Gibson and Lee Gibson.  Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, August 6, in the Oaklawn Chapel with the Rev. Paul Bryant, pastor of Brownsville Baptist Church.  Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery.  Mrs. Aeppli's grandsons and nephews will serves as pallbearers.  Oaklawn Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.  Friends may call at the funeral home from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday.
