HENRY DUANE PEIRCE, the son of IRA PEIRCE and MARY JANE BROWN, was born April 30, 1833 in Fairfield, Herkimer County, New York, and died March 13, 1906 in Pensacola, Escambia County, Florida. He married (1) MELVINA ISABELLA BENNETT June 29, 1859 in Hastings, Barry County, Michigan. She was born May 05, 1837 in New York, and died February 10, 1871. He married (2) ANNA LOVERIDGE DRAKE March 23, 1874 in Pensacola, Escambia County, Florida, the daughter of SAMUEL DRAKE and CATHARINE SHARP and the widow of JEHIEL BUTLER MARBLE. She was born May 21, 1827 in Morris Township, Knox County, Ohio, and died April 28, 1910 in Baltimore Township, Barry County, Michigan.
